Conscious sedation with nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is an inert gas, meaning it is non-irritating and non-toxic, used in what is called conscious sedation, where the patient remains conscious throughout the procedure.


What are the benefits? It can reduce the patient's perception of pain and relax them emotionally.



Its use is highly recommended for children and in certain situations for adults.

The COVID-19 prevention measures have been validated by the government and have already been implemented in our practice to ensure the health of our patients, staff, and ourselves.

Telephone interview -Questionnaire

Access to the dental practice is by appointment and telephone interview to exclude the possibility of COVID-19.

At the appointment, you will fill out a brief questionnaire.

Health and prevention

Before entering, body temperature will be measured.

Wearing a mask is mandatory for access.

Waiting room and reception
Please come without companions (if possible); children may be accompanied by one family member.

Maintain social distancing from all people.

We will provide disposable shoe covers and a bag for personal belongings.

SHU Air Purifier

Thanks to the air purifier, we can guarantee the sanitisation of the clinical environment and the waiting room. With SHU technology, approved by NASA, we can make the air healthy and free from bacteria and viruses, including the most feared ones.

Hand hygiene

Before entering the clinical area and after the service, hands will be washed with hand sanitiser.

Staff protection

Staff will be protected with masks, glasses, and caps.

High-speed suction

High-speed suction ensures a reduction in aerosol dispersion.

Protective shoe covers

Before entering the clinical area, protective shoe covers will be provided and must be worn until the patient leaves the practice.

Uncrowded waiting rooms

We organise appointments to ensure there is no excessive crowding in the waiting room.

The air purifier, SHU, is a new technology approved by NASA, capable of purifying the air from all bacteria and viruses. There is scientific evidence supporting this, and they are also trying to promote its sale in Italy given the recent threat of the coronavirus.
